The Complete Poems of Emily Dickenson

The Complete Poems - Emily Dickinson, Thomas H. Johnson

(25 year old paper copy - ed by Thomas H Johnson - I got rid of was starting to degrade at the binding - will look to get this via ebook in future, if I want a reread.)

I read this for a class in college , but it's the kind of book you go back to and read bits of from time to time. And so I can't remember whether the poems that I've marked were ones discussed in class, or just ones I liked or wanted to read again. I've got a list of them offline but figured I'd add them here anyway, in case that digital list becomes like every other post it note that I scrawled something important on and then have forgotten where I put it.

Note to self: when you get an ebook of this make sure it has
1) Subject index and index of first lines
and
2) The links allowing the reader to hop directly from index to the poem.
If I can't have both of those - stick to paper.

Poem number and first line (ones I had marked):
435 Much Madness is divinest Sense
*467 We do not play on Graves
468 The Manner of its Death
512 The Soul has bandaged moments
598 Three times- we parted- Breath - and I
599 There is a pain - so utter
632 The Brain - is wider than the Sky
646 I think to Live - may be a Bliss
657 I dwell in Possibility
754 My Life had stood - a Loaded Gun -
816 A Death blow is a Life blow to Some
1285 I know Suspense - it steps so terse
*1575 The Bat is dun, with wrinkled Wings -

* = ones that I remember particularly that I liked, not studied in class
