Remember I Was Packing a Suitcase Over a Week Ago?
I sort of knew there'd be a punchline involved with the airport. I only just now remembered to take a photo of the resulting tag.
The weight itself? Mostly thanks to bringing 7 books - but! One hardcover book was what really did the trick: Ackroyd's 832 page London. Bringing the books with me and paying the extra fee for heavy bag? Still cheaper than mailing them. (Because I'd have insured them or put tracking on them, etc. Because I've had packages disappear forever otherwise.)
Now to create a shelf just to remember which books I've left where...
