So While I Was Driving About 1200ish Miles...

Apparently when I get stressed I grip the steering wheel really tightly. I hadn't noticed that I did this, but then I haven't been driving hundreds of miles for three days straight in...well years. Er, that sounds much worse than it was - we stopped two nights and broke up the drive time. Last day was about 7+ hrs on the road though. Anyway, at the end of the trip I found myself with swollen knuckles and a lot of aches. And so I've been forcing myself to stay off the computer, because I know I will 1) type and 2) get into the computer games that I've missed (and caused me to wear off the letters A, S, D, W, X, etc. on the keyboard).

On the plus side, an ereader is an epic thing for not straining any hand muscles. Also I'm really happy I brought the parraffin wax bath instead of donating it somewhere. Here's a How Stuff Works page on the thing, if  you're curious. Here's what an average one looks like. I have to admit that I bought it when I lived in a colder climate mostly because I'm someone who's always loved to mess about with candles while they melt (and try and create gloppy sculptures - my mother totally didn't appreciate this, possibly because I ruined several candles). Also if you ever wanted to jump out and surprise someone with your hands covered with several layers of wax (which makes them look all oozey and dead), I'd recommend also wearing some of that green mud masque all over your face at the same time - just to really get the full effect. Er, not that I've done that lately.
